AI ecosystems

AI as infrastructure. Not as a single project.

From readiness assessment and data strategy to integrating LLMs and agents into existing processes — with governance that holds beyond the first pilot.

Starting point

Isolated AI projects rarely create an advantage.

Most companies start with a single use case and hit the same limit: the data is not connectable, the processes are not described, and the results have no link to day-to-day business.

An AI ecosystem does not mean introducing as many tools as possible. It means creating a data and process foundation on which each further application becomes cheaper than the previous one — and a basis for deciding which applications are sensible at all.

Services

The building blocks.

  • 01

    AI readiness assessment

Assessing data situation, process maturity, skills and technical foundation — with a clear statement on which applications are viable today and which are not.

  • 02

    Data strategy and architecture

Defining data sources, responsibilities and quality rules so applications build on maintained data rather than extracts.

  • 03

    Tool stack selection

Choosing between platforms and models based on data residency, operational effort, cost structure and dependency risk.

  • 04

    LLM and agent integration

Embedding into existing applications with defined intervention points, approvals and fallbacks — including structured evaluation before go-live.

  • 05

    Change management

Enabling business units so usage remains traceable and acceptance does not depend on individuals.

  • 06

    Governance and ethical use

Rules on data access, traceability, approval levels and responsibilities — and defining which decisions deliberately remain human.

Outcome

What an ecosystem delivers.

  • A documented data and process foundation on which further applications emerge faster.
  • Applications with defined evaluation and named limits of use.
  • Governance rules in place before go-live — not afterwards.
Questions

Frequent questions on AI ecosystems.

What distinguishes an ecosystem from a pilot?
A pilot answers a single question. An ecosystem creates the basis on which the next application becomes cheaper and faster: shared data sources, clarified access and consistent rules.
Does our data have to move to the cloud?
No. The decision depends on data sensitivity, regulatory requirements and cost structure. We state the consequences of both paths openly, including operational effort.
How do you handle the EU AI Act?
We classify your use cases by risk level and derive documentation, testing and monitoring obligations from that. Classification happens before implementation, not afterwards.
How long does a sensible build-up take?
Readiness assessment and data strategy are usually reliable within four to eight weeks. Stepwise integration follows in stages — with intermediate results that can each be assessed individually.
